Module

Initially, i had the idea to create a multifaceted space to reflect the multidisciplinary aspect to Michael Leunig. However, on second thought i decided to strip this idea back, and focus on the contrast between the inoccence we have as children and the loss of creativity of adults (struggle to think freely without the blocks that come about by what we've been conditioned to) I feel that this is an iteresting/ necessary focus for creating a space for Leunig, as not only is he preoccupied with human conditioning and mental and behavioural patterns, but he is aditionally a father, making family (potentially children) and the interaction with the world a focus. Furthermore, the colour choices were intended to reflect the conflict between childlike innocence and purity (white) and the corruption from the world that shapes us into adults (red). I also found it important to stick to 2 main elements which have been entwined in a helix type form to further reflect the idea of 2 contrasting aspects.
